It was given to the National Trust and we were passed the commission for a feasibility study by our Planning Consultant. We asked Acorn Consultancy to take the lead in the preparation of a business plan, in line with NT principles, to graft this land and the buildings on it into their extensive holdings in Winchelsea.

Working with graphic design corporate image designers for the Agency, we nursed the project through the planning process, in a Conservation Area, in the heart of historic Ashford.

This unused semi-basement area of the Southcliffe Hotel, Folkestone, was brought into use as a popular, 30 somethings place to meet and grab a bar snack. It had a mission to provide a secure feel for the young, unattached female, who might not otherwise venture into a bar. We worked with the Hotel's nominated interior designers, and took the project through the planning and building regulations stages.

Together with The Parkin Consultancy, we produced drawings for a business plan to develop a visitor centre out of three run-down barns, for the Ashdown Forest - 'Winnie the Pooh Country'.

Now Weatherspoons in Canterbury. The gabled section is a new infill site, piled, steel-framed and built out to the full extent of the site boundary.
